Where are you located?We are located in downtown Meadville at 275 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.

When are you open?Our box office is open Tuesday-Friday, noon to 5:00pm, and one hour before curtain until the end of intermission. Our mainstage shows begin at 7:30pm for evening performances and 2:00pm for matinees. Limited engagement times may vary.

Where can I park?There is a parking lot between the Academy Theatre and Mannino's Italian Garden, on street parking, and parking lots behind the theatre. Parking lot next to the theatre and on street parking is metered only Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm. Lots behind the theatre are available after 6:00pm.

How soon should I arrive before a show?We recommend showing up 30 minutes before curtain if you have already purchased your tickets, and one hour before curtain if you have not yet purchased tickets.

How long is the show?Shows vary in runtime. Call 814-337-8000 to ask about a specific performance or production.

Does my child need a ticket?We ask that any child over the age of 2 has their own ticket.

I lost my tickets! What do I do now?Have no fear! Our box office staff can reprint any lost tickets.

Can I get a refund?All sales are final. The box office does not issue refunds. In the event of a cancellation, for which there is no rescheduled date, a refund may be issued at the option of the managemnet.

I bought tickets, but I can no longer make it to the performance. Can I exchange my tickets?"Tickets may only be exchanged within the run of a production, but not to a different production. Example: If you have tickets to opening night of Beauty and the Beast, you may exchange them to the following weekend performance of Beauty and the Beast, but you may not exchange them for tickets to Chicago. If you have tickets to a one-time event, you may not exchange them for another event.

I was given a comp. How do I use it?Complimentary tickets or "comps" are given to donors, sponsors, volunteers, and press. Typically, the recipient will recieve a comp card specifying the specific show for which it can be used. The comp cards themselves are not tickets, and must be turned in as a payment type for an actual ticket. Comp cards must be turned into the box office when used to purchase a ticket. You cannot use your comp card to purchase a ticket over the phone. *Call the box office at 814-337-8000 with any questions or concerns.

Do you sell concessions?Yes! The Academy Theatre WING sells a variety of candy, chips, and drinks. *Food must be consumed in the lobby or gallery and is not permitted in the auditorium. *Drinks may only be consumed in the auditorium if they have a lid. Travel mugs are sold at the concession stand for your convenience.

What accomodations do you have?Wheelchair accessible seating and bathrooms are available.

Do you have a lost and found?Yes. Please call the box office at 814-337-8000 to ask about any items in the lost and found.

Can I volunteer at the Academy?Yes! Volunteers are the foundation of the Academy! Are you a non-profit organization?Yes! The Academy Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax-deductible.
